In-Person and Distance Sessions

Animals are naturally receptive to receiving Animal Reiki. They respond without expectation, belief, or resistance. Reiki is never forced. Animals choose how and if they receive it.

Sessions are gentle, quiet, and respectful of each animal’s temperament, boundaries, and environment.

How Reiki Supports Animals

Reiki is often used to support animals during times of physical stress, emotional change, or recovery. It is not a replacement for veterinary care. It works alongside traditional care to help the nervous system settle and the body return to balance.

Pet owners commonly seek Reiki for:

  • Anxiety, fear, or nervous behavior

  • Recovery from injury, surgery, or illness

  • Aging and end-of-life comfort

  • Trauma from rehoming, neglect, or change

  • Stress related to travel, separation, or environment

Animals typically respond by relaxing, moving closer or farther away, yawning, sighing, or falling asleep.

In-Person Reiki for Animals

In-person sessions are quiet and unstructured. There is no restraint and no expectation of touch. Animals are free to move, leave, or engage as they wish.

Jenny works:

  • At the animal’s pace

  • With consent shown through behavior, not force

  • In familiar environments when possible

This approach is especially helpful for animals that are sensitive, elderly, or recovering.

Distance Animal Reiki

Distance Reiki is just as effective and is often preferred for animals who are easily stressed by new people or environments.

Distance sessions are ideal when:

  • The animal is anxious around strangers

  • The animal lives far away

  • The animal is recovering and needs minimal disturbance

  • Ongoing support is needed

Animals do not need to be aware a session is happening. They receive what is appropriate for them in that moment.
